Papa Joe was a beloved figure in the Fort Worth community and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. As the third-generation owner of Peters Brothers Hats, he dedicated his life to the art of hat-making and was a true master of his craft.
Papa Joe learned the trade from his grandfather, who believed that it was the fit of a hat that mattered most. He passed down this lesson to his grandson, and it became a cornerstone of the Peters Brothers Hats philosophy. From western hats to Fedoras, Papa Joe could shape and steam a hat to fit most any style.
His dedication to his craft was evident in everything he did and he took great pride in the work he produced. When a customer put on a Peters Brothers Hat, you could see the smile on their face and know that it was a combination of the perfect fit and the high-quality materials used. Although Papa Joe is no longer with us, his legacy and love for hat-making will live on through the continued success of Peters Brothers Hats. He will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
