Q. HOW THICK IS THE FELT ON THE NEW SOFTER HATS?

A. BOTH THE 100% BEAVER AND THE RABBIT BLEND
HATS ARE THINNER THAN THE ORIGINAL STIFF BODIES.
THEY ARE A DRESS HAT WEIGHT THAT HAS GOOD
"MEMORY", HOLD THEIR SHAPE VERY WELL AND ARE
VERY PLIABLE

Q. CAN I MAKE CHANGES IN THE STYLE, RIBBON, BRIM,
AND CROWN HIEGHT?

A. YES.
THIS IS A CUSTOM HAT MADE THE WAY YOU WANT IT.

Q. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET A HAT?

A. THAT DEPENDS ON A LOT OF FACTORS. TIME OF
YEAR,SUPPLY OF ALL COMPONENTS ON HAND,
EQUIPMENT FAILURE AND EMPLOYEES SHOWING UP.
THE SHORT ANSWER IS 4-6 WEEKS. QUICKER IF
POSSIBLE.

Q.How does it hold up in the elements? (Rain, sun, etc.)

A. To date I have had no complaint about any of our hat
maintaining shape or holding up to the rain or sun.

Q. Does one particular blend maintain its shape better?

A. The 100% Beaver and 50/50 Beaver and Rabbit blend
are the best. The 100% Beaver is soft and the 50/50 is stiff.

Q. Is the felt treated with a protectant of any kind?

A. No I don't believe in them. We use no grease or powders
on our hats and I think anything that clogs up the nap of the
fur is not good. Rabbit, Hare and Beaver are very water
repellent furs on there own.
As far as stains I haven't seen any thing that works.
